The headline cars are the brand-new 1993 Honda Civic Coupe EX EJ1 and the Toyota Chaser JZX 100.

The 1993 Honda Civic Coupe EX EJ1 -The Fast and the Furious - is one of the most recognizable cars from the first film, the black Civic EJ1 starred in the opening highway heist where three identical Civics hijack a truck. It’s a fan-favorite moment and finally makes its Hot Wheels premium debut.

The yellow Toyota Chaser JZX100 from The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006) is a true JDM cult classic. The yellow Chaser appears in Han’s fleet and is briefly driven by Sean. Unlike the flashier hero cars, it was one of the most authentic drift machines in the film, the kind you’d actually see at a Tokyo drift meet in the mid-2000s. Fans have been waiting a long time for this casting to join the Hot Wheels premium line, and it finally delivers.

The main competition car that Sean uses in Tokyo Drift is the red Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX.  It's one of the standout cars in the film. While cars typically used for drifting are rear-wheel-drive, the Evo IX is an all-wheel-drive performance sedan, so the movie car was heavily modified to make it drift-capable. This is the first time this casting has appeared in a Hot Wheels premium range.

Also from Tokyo Drift, the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 3.8 is one of the more surprising cars in the film because of its rarity - only about 55 examples were ever made. The car isn't used in any driving scenes and only appears briefly in DK’s (Drift King’s) garage. If you're wondering why the card art features the rear end of the car, it's because that's all you see in the film.

The gold Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera is from Fast X. You'll remember the scene where Roman and Han are racing through the streets running interference for the convoy, Roman is in the incredible gold wrapped 2003 Lamborghini Gallardo, with Han in the Alfa Romeo 2000 GT.

The Fast and Furious premium series cars feature metal bases and real rider wheels, and recall memorable cars from the movie franchise. As often seems to be the case with this long running Hot Wheels line, the Lamborghini and Porsche are repeats. Overall, the new castings make this one of the best waves of the year, and it sold out fast on our website. We’re working on securing more stock, so stay tuned.
