Can I accumulate points and save them until I reach a higher tier?

Yes, absolutely. You can keep accumulating and choose to redeem whenever you’re ready — it’s completely up to you. As your points build up you’ll also move through the tiers automatically, unlocking better discounts along the way.

 

How come I already have points when the DC Garage Club has just launched?

When the DC Garage Club launched on 25 June 2026, we allocated opening points to existing customers based on purchases made over the previous 12 months — our way of recognising your loyalty from day one.

What happens to my points when I reach the next tier?

Your points carry over in full — nothing is lost when you move up. Your reward simply upgrades to the new tier level automatically, so your next redemption will reflect the higher discount.

How do I redeem my points?

When you’re ready to redeem, go to My Rewards under your profile and select the option to generate a coupon code. The points will be deducted from your balance immediately, and your coupon code will be ready to apply at checkout on orders over $50.

 

What happens to my points if I generate a coupon code but don’t use it straight away?

The points are deducted from your balance as soon as you generate the code, so there’s no need to rush. If you don’t use the code immediately, just head back to My Rewards under your profile and you’ll find the code waiting there to copy and apply at checkout.

 

Do my points expire?

No — your points balance never expires. You can take your time building up to a reward. Note that your tier status is reviewed annually based on points earned over the previous 12 months, so if you haven’t been active for a year your tier may adjust — but your points balance remains intact regardless.

What happens if I haven't earned points for a while?

Your tier is reviewed annually based on points earned in the previous 12 months. If you earn enough points to maintain your tier, you stay. If not, you’ll move to the tier that reflects your recent activity. Your points balance is never lost — only your tier status is reviewed.

 

I signed up but I can’t see my points balance — where do I find it?

Log in to your account on diecastcollectables.co.nz and go to My Rewards under your profile. Your current points balance, membership tier, and any available coupon codes will all be shown there.

 

Is there a minimum order to use a reward coupon?

Yes — reward coupons apply to orders over $50. This applies across all tiers.

 

Can I earn points on every order?

Yes — every dollar you spend on diecastcollectables.co.nz earns you 1 point, on every order, across all tiers. Points are added to your account as soon as your order is confirmed.

 

Do I earn points when I use a reward coupon on my order?

Yes — points are awarded on what you actually pay. If you use a reward coupon, your points will be calculated on the order total (excluding shipping) after the discount has been applied. Points are added to your account once your order is marked as paid.

 

Do I earn points on shipping costs?

No — points are based on your product subtotal only. Shipping costs are not included in the points calculation.

How do I know what tier I’m on?

Your current tier is shown on your My Rewards page when you’re logged in to diecastcollectables.co.nz. You’ll also be able to see your points balance and how far you are from the next tier.

What happens to my tier status if I haven't earned points for a while?

Tier status is based on points earned over the previous 12 months. If you haven’t been active over that period, your tier will adjust to reflect your current points level — but your points balance is always retained.
